ARCHTECH 208 - Environmental Design I
For this project, a zone within Aotearoa / New Zealand was randomly assigned, with each zone being unique based upon varying characteristics. Upon receiving a zone encompassing Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington, our task was to select a vacant lot and design a dwelling of no more than 10m x 10m. The success of this project would follow the cues of the surrounding environment, ie temperature, altitude, wind, etc, to ensure the place of residence was comfortable and liveable.
