My images for 'ROGUE Aotearoa' gained a wee bit of traction online. After Becky and Connie of The Art Paper reached out to include both those images on their online journal, they later suggested we meet up and discuss a collaboration of sorts.
The two of them work as a pretty tight knit team. From my knowledge they get the odd contractor in to assist with other aspects of the magazine, so I was excited to be offered a spot for the end of 2023.
We selected from a list the few remaining events in the art scene for us to attend. Essentially, I would shoot the event on film, capturing the people, the looks, the vibe if you will, and they would write about it. We were able to commit to 4 events from mid November to early December. A quick turn around really, though it gave me the opportunity to be thrusted into the art scene alongside two quite prominent figures who supported my work greatly.
